Our little pooper - literally

So, this is a nice picture.

Then here's the Pooper in action - notice the concentration on her face.

Ahh, relief!

6 weeks old

natural mohawk

This week she really started liking sitting under the floor activity gym and moving her arms and legs. Before, she would sit there for about 2 minutes and then start crying.

Fists of furry

5 weeks

I went back to work this weekend. I'd much rather just be a mom and not work at all, but finances don't allow for that... One thing I worried about with having Joel working weekends now (Fri., Sat., Sun. - 12-hr. shifts) was how I was going to take care of Addie while trying to play for church. A lady from church (Lori) heard about Joel working weekends now and has volunteered her time to watch Adeline WHENEVER I need somebody, as long as she's available of course. She absolutely loves babies and kids so she considers this a treat. :) So this weekend was our first "go" at having Addie with her. Everything went great. Lori has been so gracious to get her to me in between services, etc., so I can feed her and has been willing to work with my schedule. She has been such a God-send already. I'm not sure what I was worrying about before - God always takes care of us. :) Choir starts up this Wednesday and then next week Thursday I start teaching music classes again.

Anyways, here are some pictures I took of her today. She's such a smiler. :)

1 month old!

In the last picture here she's smiling at herself on the mirror on the yellow block.

1 month old!

Adeline is one month old today. Or if you want to be more specific, she turned 4 weeks old on Thursday. Here are some pictures we took of her on her 4-week old date.

A favorite of mine

Joel with Addie before heading to work one day.

Part 2

Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Ken's visit - part 1

It was great having my parents around. They left early this morning. I was telling Joel I feel as if my maids have left! :)

My mom was here for 2 weeks and my dad was here for 1 of those weeks. So they got to see her grow! Addie holds her head up on her own. She also started smiling last week - focusing on people and smiling at them. (She also still smiles when she passes gas or has just been fed). Addie got to take lots of trips - we went to Red Wing, MN for an afternoon, went to the Mall of America to walk around, went to the Renaissance Festival that's just south of Shakopee, went to a few restaurants, and took lots of walks.

Here are some pictures from their visit.

Adeline's Baptism Affirmation

Catching up on pictures on here... Pretty self-explanatory. If anybody has any other pictures from the baptism, please send them our way. We didn't have as many as we thought.
