Papa Ken and Grandma Sandy bought the sunglasses for her a few months ago. I brought them out while going through some of her stuff and she hasn't been able to put them down. So, here she has them while brushing her teeth before bed. It's very bright inside, apparently.

Sympathy weight?
Excuse my look of tiredness. And the placement of the door knob behind me. I believe it was close to 11pm when this was taken. Joel had just gotten home from work. 12 weeks, 1 day - 2nd trimester!

12-week baby appt.
Had another doc appt. today with Dr. Griffiths. Was able to hear the baby's heartbeat this time, which was awesome. Always a good feeling. The baby kept on moving and kicked the doppler a few times. Guess we have a soccer player on our hands. Heartbeat was going at about 160/bpm. We already set up the 20 wk. ultrasound for May 11th. This pregnancy is flying by, for sure.

Poll
We won't be finding out the gender of our baby again, so we've created a poll on the sidebar where you can vote if you think it's going to be a boy or a girl. And if you want to change it later on I think you can do that too. Have fun!

Addie's 18-month appointment
I'm always bad about scheduling appointments for myself or anyone else in our family unless it's an emergency, so Addie's 18-month appointment was almost her 19 month appointment today. I think she's just going to be a petite little girl after Grandma Joan and Great Grandma Marie. Here are her stats:
Weight: 21 lbs., 6 oz. (8th%tile)
Height: 30.6 inches (15th%tile)
Head: 17.6 inches (7th %tile)
Had her booster shot for Tetanus/Diptheria in her arm. Didn't even whine when given the shot. Just kept looking at the Elmo sticker. What a tough cookie. Sign her up for football, folks! Since we're going to Peru in May, that's one of the shots that she needs, so we were happy that we don't have to pay anything extra for that.
Here are some somewhat recent pictures of Addie:
And Joel found her like this in front of the TV one day... she's a climber!
Got a balloon from the waitress at TGIFriday's when we went with Grandma Joan and Grandpa Ron. She thought this was the best thing ever.
Baby #2 - I always look so dumb in these pictures, but I like to take them for point of reference. Right now I just looked bloated. This is a little over a week ago at 9 1/2 weeks along.
