We were able to get away from Minnesota for a few days this past weekend. Was nice to see family. Was also nice having older cousins and Aunts and Grandma to take care of Addie while I laid on the recliner and rested. I had a fever both Saturday and Sunday - not sure what was up with that. Joel got to finally test out a chainsaw he bought from Menards on some trees down by the river at his parent's place. Not sure why we needed one, but it was a good one that was on sale and he said, "We'll need it eventually". :) True. Maybe. Guys are always thinking ahead. We visited with Great Grandma Poff for a bit at the nursing home. Keep her in your prayers to stay comfortable. My fever was gone by Monday - I felt much better, and then it was time to drive home. Glad I didn't go into labor on Labor Day. :)
Had my 37-wk. appt. this morning. I'm 3cm dilated now and 60-70% effaced. I'm ready to have the baby because, well, I just want to see what this little guy or girl looks like. :) And let's face it - I'm starting to get uncomfortable now, especially sleeping. But on the other hand I'm not ready. Having a toddler and a brand new baby is definitely going to be a change and exhausting. Hang on baby! Not QUITE yet! We'll see what God has in store in the next few weeks.

Labor Day weekend
Playing cards with cousin Lydia.
Finally got a 4-generation picture. Not sure why it took so long.

36 weeks
This was taken last night at 36 weeks. Hopefully not TOO much longer than 4 weeks to go. Had a doc's appt. this morning. I'm 2cm dilated already - have had some stronger contractions here and there - so I guess they're doing what they're suppose to be doing. I need to take it a little easy since they won't do anything to stop labor if it starts. Besides having issues with sleeping and getting comfortable at night I've been feeling fine.
Started choir last night. Went well - had a new member join, and an old one come back. Always nice to have a full choir.
Looking forward to going to De Pere this weekend to see Joel's family. Have a great weekend!
