We kind of got lucky today because we weren't suppose to get an ultrasound. We went in just to hear the heartbeat, but the little jelly bean is too small yet :) . Dr. Griffiths couldn't pick it up with the doppler. So to make sure everything was on track, our doc did an ultrasound and we got to see the heartbeat instead! Going 160 bpm (I think that's what he said - either that or 60, but that seems too low). We also got to get a picture, which we also weren't suppose to get. Baby measures 2.43 cm and is 9 weeks and 1 day old. The head is on the left of the picture.

What a beautiful "Little Bean"!!!! Praise God for the gift of life! We do believe "Little Bean" has a Zahn head! :)
Haha, thanks Mom. :) Fortunately, the baby's head will be a little more proportional to it's body by the time it's done growing. It was pretty cool - you could see the heart "blinking" in it's chest. It's that transparent.
I'm officially naming it BIP's BEAN!! And it would be about 160 BPM. Try to count that in a minute through a stethescope....fun! Congrats thats awesome!!!!
